Meeting called to order: 6:33pm
April minutes were read and approved as written.
Directors Report: The band will be going to inspection at the
Ski To Sea parade on May 28. Students
will need to be at the band room at 9:30 am.
The busses will leave at 10:00 am.
Treasurers Report: Still some gift cards left.
Uniforms: Started re-fitting kids on May 9th. Will continue for the next two Monday
practices to finish.
Communications: The website is up to date with events, dates,
and times.
Trinkets and
Treasures Craft and Flea Market: Students
are coming to tape booth borders at 4:00 on Friday, May 6. At 3:30, the Lummi Community Center will come
to take anything left over from the garage sale.
New Business: The end of year band picnic will be held
on June 2. Mr. Menefee will be assigning
food to bring per section.
Kids will be wearing last year’s t-shirts for the Old
Settler’s parade. WECU will provide new
shirts next year.
Joy Born in working on a carwash fundraiser for August.
Amanda Boblet gave information on a camel safari
fundraiser. Kids can sell vouchers for a
“camel encounter” in Bellingham. More
info will come home with students.
